We’re talking about

Welcome to Northdawn Coaching & Consulting

I’m Jeanette and I help working professionals who are feeling trapped in a fog of unease, wondering if they are in a career crisis.

I’m talking about high-performance people, like you, who once found joy and confidence in their careers but now feel lost with little hope, wondering how to overcome this mid-career crisis.

Let me guide you through a personalized journey to transform your professional life from colorless to vibrant, making the next stage of your career a cry of victory, not of defeat.

A few symptoms of a mid-career crisis:

  • You wonder, when did things start to shift from, well, sort of effortless, to constant worry and fretting about every little thing in your work?

  • You’ve started to doubt your competency and wonder if the term, “imposter syndrome”, might apply to you?

  • You used to feel confident but now you just feel uncertain so much of the time.

  • You have some doubt that this can be solved in your current position, and the thought of making a change is overwhelming and exhausting.

because, not only have I experienced many of these same, shall we say, awful, feelings myself, but I have successfully emerged on the other side, eager to share what I have learned and the solutions I have found.

A few words from my clients . . .

  • "I am delighted to share my heartfelt appreciation for Jeanette's exceptional guidance in helping me navigate the complex world of making career choices, especially when I thought I had a "plan". Working with her has been an enlightening experience as I found myself lost in a sea of uncertainty, unsure of which path to pursue. Her insightful coaching sessions not only provided clarity but also instilled in me a renewed sense of confidence in my abilities and aspirations."

  • "Working with Jeanette was a transformative experience that reshaped how I approach my projects. Her coaching style is a unique blend of professionalism and warmth, creating an environment where I felt both challenged and supported. What truly sets Jeanette apart is her ability to maintain a professional atmosphere that is also incredibly inviting and secure. I felt completely at ease discussing my projects with her, which allowed me to lay everything out on the table without hesitation."

  • "I completed a significant career transition about two years ago and am now preparing for another significant shift. I had a lot of ideas about the transition and my end goal. What was missing was a way to clear what seemed like a lot of ideas into a pathway towards my goal. It was good to talk through my ideas - they seemed less imposing after our coaching conversations."

    Nyasha M. GuramatunhuCooper, PhD

  • "I was experiencing significant changes within my organization, team, and role/responsibilities. These changes made me question my value and my commitment to the organization, and whether it was time to consider a departure. Jeanette was attentive, a good listener, and she asked thought-provoking questions that really helped me identify what was core to my problem/concern."

  • "I didn't feel like I was struggling. I just wasn't motivated to pursue a direction in my job search. I attributed it to significant life issues distracting me but in working with you, determined that there were also work style issues that I wanted to work through before diving back in. While we used a "framework," which I thought was good, your techniques made the whole process feel very focused on me and where I needed to spend time and energy."

Lisa C., making a career transition

  • "You are an incredible listener and I felt like 1 of 1, even though I know you have other clients. You tied points back to prior conversations and made me feel at ease for not knowing my path or having the answers. I also appreciated the times we paused to make the connections and also the times I was challenged to dig deeper or unpack items."

    Matt S.

  • "It has been an absolute pleasure working with Jeanette. Working with her has been an incredible journey of self-discovery and growth. From the outset, she created an environment where I felt entirely safe to express my innermost thoughts and emotions. She has a remarkable talent for creating a sacred space where sharing your thoughts and truth feels safe. Jeanette possesses a unique gift for guiding her clients through their personal and professional journeys with compassion and wisdom. Her approach is not just about solving problems; it's about unlocking potential and fostering growth."
